Little Trees, catalog & publication, 2022
This project is a catalog of Little Trees air fresheners as seen in film, focusing on data collected regarding women in films with Little Trees. I began by recording all the movies with Little Trees. From there, I noted the make, model, and color of the vehicles, and the gender of the character driving. I also collected the Rotten Tomatoes scores, both audience and critic, to create an aggregate ranking for each film. All the data—vehicle information, film details, character’s gender, review—is presented in an accordion book that reads on both sides. One side presents the data, and the other shows the film still of each air freshener.
